Bespoke Custom Bra Branding Shoot

When Rubie’s Bras contacted me right before the pandemic hit, I was excited to work with this brand. We had to wait patiently for the opportunity to make it all happen this fall. AND THEN…my entire family caught a bug and wanting to be so cautious, we moved the shoot once again. I have to admit, I felt a little defeated. We changed locations quickly which turned out to be fatefully perfect as we found HAVN Loft in Toronto run by the magical Emily Ferris and turns out this spot couldn’t have been better for the look we were aiming to achieve.

Ruhee Rajan, the founder of Rubie’s Bras is a dedicated custom bra maker and I can honestly say that I had no knowledge of this world of custom bra making until I was introduced to her brand. My mind was blown and I will never look at bra or bra making the same way again. I say time and time again that my work at Three Crowns Studio connects me to unique industries and the women who run them and this case was no different. Ruhee wanted a “free people” aesthetic with movement and fluidity to her images. She created a vision board which was a great jumping off point for the color tones of the shoot with some blush, rust, white and emerald. I couldn’t be prouder of this shoot and the outcome. It was also, in a very tumultuous year, one of the most fun, fulfilling and creatively expressive days I have had. I didn’t know I needed this day until it happened. It lit me up from within.

*I can now also say that I am the proud owner of not one but FIVE Rubie’s Bras creations. They are a work of art for my body. I highly recommend.
